Track Listing

The musicians and guest musicians are listed by track as the running order would be on CD, but the track listing is how it would appear on vinyl. Wouldn't it make more sense to list SIDE B starting at #6 so that when you want to know which tracks Tony Levin plays Chapman Stick on for example it's easier to find? Yes, it does. Some editors believe that the track numbering should follow the vinyl system in the "Track listing" sections and the CD system in the "Personnel" sections (I asked one of them why and he refused to answer) and went around inserting this nonsensical system into articles over a number of years, but this was never supported by policy or consensus. Fortunately, this particular article was fixed so that both sections use the CD numbering system back in 2015, less than three years after your post.
